Trip to Visit the Christoffersons
Before Thanksgiving Ryan and I flew to California to spend a week with our BEST FRIENDS: Adam, Marilee, Spencer and new baby Annie. It was so fun to see each other… being on opposite sides of the country definitely limits our visits. Marilee and I planned a fun-filled week but unfortunately I was SO SICK because I was 7 weeks pregnant! I was supposed to be helping Marilee with Annie but instead Marilee did a fantastic job taking care of me and the kids!! Ryan, 17 months and Spencer, 23 month, ‘hit it off’ and had so much fun doing everything together, going to the park, taking baths, playing golf, running around, and watching videos. Even when they wanted the same chair. They’re already acting like brothers! It was so fun to watch them interact. Ryan loved to hold Baby Annie and give her kisses. Thanksgiving Weekend
We spent Thanksgiving with the Johnsons in Sandy, utah. Ryan and I flew out four days before Dad because he only got 3 days off school. It was fun to tell everyone I was 7 weeks pregnant! I was really sick - one day I threw up 16 times - but I had fun shopping and playing with all the girls. Chris arrived the night before Thanksgiving. We had a big Thanksgiving Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Polson’s house with all of the extended family and then enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing, visiting and playing games. I managed to eat a few bites of mashed potatoes but couldn’t eat anything else. : (
After Thanksgiving we went up to John’s Dad’s cabin for a night. It was beautiful. We ad a mini-Christmas, exchanged gifts and got very spoiled. Del and Shelley gifted me a cute Natvity set that I had seen in the store and loved. I was so surprised! Except for some who got sick, we had a great time!
