Thursday, November 17th
Notes: Out the door by 9:30ish and on our way to Siena. very cool city. Neat streets. Great city square… Il Campo. Spent a lot of time there. Kids running down the ‘line’ and back, chasing pigeons and playing tag. Then we climbed the tower which had such a great view. Fun pictures at the top. We walked over to the Duomo, shopping a long the way. We visited a cool church that had black and white stripes. Very unique. We walked back to Il campo for dinner at one of the neat restaurants lining the top. Cool atmosphere. We wandered back through the streets back to our cars. Played lots of Dominion back at home. So fun. Also worked on Georgia house stuff and downloading pictures.

Notes: Such a fun day! Off to Florence. Great weather once again. We parked up on Piazza Michelangelo. Bought some watercolor prints and then took pictures of the view. Headed down into the town over Pont Avvecchio Bridge. Down mainstreet into Duomo Square. We ate GROM gelato. We went inside the Duomo. G&G, Chris and the big kids saw THE DAVID. Little kids and I walked down the shop alley by the church. Fun to be with Megan. We walked back through town to the 4 Leoni Restaurant and ate Brushetta, pine avocado salad, fiochetti, and cheesecake and then walked back up to the van.
