Losing some friends

It’s that time of year again… PCS season when everyone leaves.  Either we’re moving or our friends are.  We were sad to see the Patterson family leave Heidelberg in July.  We had gotten to be great friends and enjoyed monthly games nights which were really fun since we loved all the same games.  I loved accompanying Emma on some great girls trips and getting the scoop on all the best places to travel in Europe since they were the experts.  I loved singing in the choir with her as the pianist. (She’s amazing!)  We also loved eating great food together and went out on double dates to Dorshank frequently.  A couple nights before they left we went with the Gillespie’s and Petersons out to our Greek restaurant for one last fun night… great food and lots of laughing.  We promise not to have any fun without you!!  Miss you, Emma.
