The week documented on iPhone
Our last week in Utah went flying by and we packed in as much as we could.
Monday – Ryan and I left to meet Melissa, Mark, Matt and Jared and we carpooled down to BYU to drop off the boys at BYU. Mark and Ryan roomed together and had SO MUCH FUN. I knew he would love it and couldn’t help being a bit excited myself dropping him off. Seeing all the excited EFY counselors there sure brought back a lot of memories from when I was a counselor myself. Melissa and I stuck our heads in Ryan and Mark’s room, took a quick pic and walked out doing a little ‘yahoo’ of our own. Then we met up with Brittany and went to lunch and sat and talked for hours afterwards.
Tuesday we went to hang out at Marilee’s mom’s place and swim. It was so fun to see Marilee again. It’s been 3 and a half years since we’ve seen them. All the kids have grown so much! The kids had no trouble getting reconnecting with Garret, Logan and Avery. Such a nice backyard. We ate lunch and sat by the pool while the kids enjoyed the slide and diving boards.

Tuesday night we met the Chuggs and Nikole and kids at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Nikole, Ash and I split the most delicious biscuits and gravy meal. It was so good!
Wednesday Shelley, Del and Katie headed off for GIRLS CAMP… (Katie’s second one of the summer). Shelley has been working hard over the last couple of weeks to get everything ready. It was a Dr. Seuss theme and Katie said it was so much fun.
Thursday we hung out at home as well. Grandma and Grandpa took both cars to Girls Camp and we were positively pleased to be homebound for a couple days. I worked on photos, and talked to my friend, Monae for 3 hours while the 4 little kids played and played inside and out. In the afternoon Lindsey brought her girls down for a visit and we walked to the park around the corner to let the kids play. : )
Friday Del and Katie got home from girls camp late the night before happy to have a shower and a good night sleep. Apparently Katie and the other beehives stayed up the first night singing Taylor Swift until 3:00am. After Katie slept in, Del and I took the kids to Café Rio for lunch and then over to Scheels again. Another Ferris Wheel Ride.
Friday night I went to the Deer Valley Music Festival with my Aunt Jennifer and Jed and Adam. We went to WICKED DIVAS’ to watch my cousin’s wife, Nicole, perform. She was absolutely fantastic! It was so fun to be there! I left straight from the performance to go to the airport to pick up Chris. So anxious to have him back for another quick weekend.
