Christmas Décor
I still get so excited to unpack all my nutcrackers every year. They are such a great memory and I just love them sitting all over my kitchen counters.
My red clock sits in my kitchen now and this year I placed the Shepherd and little lambs there after we had our first Christ Centered Christmas Lesson about the Shepherd.
Love to put up Christmas cards of our families and friends every year.
On my front entry table sits my Reindeer from Georgia and a new poinsettia. My friend, Leah gave me the snowflake for my birthday.
Emily made both of these little pieces of art. I love them both!
Our Eastern European Father Christmas’ sit in the front piano room.
Above the piano sits our schwibbogen, our pyramids and our little Christmas market scenes.
Adam and Marilee gave us the picture on the left last year and Ashlyn gave us the one on the right this year. Love them both.
This is the first year we’ve had two trees in the house. We moved our old 9 foot tree downstairs and got a 12 foot one for upstairs. Fun to have a magical family room downstairs as well and watch movies with a lit tree. We’ve been working hard to get this room decorated lately. The couch we’ve had for a year but when the kids went back to school in the fall we started shopping for the media center and tables behind the couch (pottery barn) and the stools (target) and found a perfect canvas of old Paris at the All About Home store. I had envisioned a long table behind the couch with stools for awhile to take advantage of the space and create a place where the kids could eat and would be good for entertaining. These tables were exactly what I had in mind and two of them perfectly fit behind the long couch. This room is not quite done yet… but it’s close.
These are the cute new Santa ornaments that Chris bought for me for my birthday. I love them!!
