Mexico Trip–Tulum Ruins

We were up early packing the van and getting ready to leave.  We said adios to the beach house and headed out on the bumpy road for an hour out of the Bio Reserve.  We had swapped kids, like we usually did so Luke was riding in the Jacksons car and Maggie was in ours.  I guess Luke had a bit of a stomach ache and the orange juice he had at breakfast didn’t love the bumpy roads and came right back up, in the Jacksons car.  We were ahead in the van and when we saw that they weren’t behind us, waited for a few minutes before heading back to see what was the matter.  No cell service in the Bio Reserve.  Poor guy. We cleaned him up, changed his clothes and switched him back to our car and kept going.

Sad to leave this Paradise…

It was fun to see the ruins of Tulum right on the ocean.  We quickly made our way through, took some pictures and headed to the airport.  What a great trip.  So so fun. 

Eat – Beach – Sleep – Repeat.  [check]    Definitely a good motto.
