Christmas Break with the Waltons

We headed to Utah after Christmas - which is very unexpected for us, but was so fun. We spent four days with the Waltons in Provo! We drove on Friday, December 28th and got there late on Emily’s 16th birthday! We enjoyed being with them on Saturday, Sunday, Monday (New Year’s Eve) and Tuesday. So fun to be together. We spent time at the climbing gym, headed up to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights, watched Mike bless Mara on Sunday afternoon, played games and hung out at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, worked on our Walton Christmas music video on New Years Eve Day and then headed with all of the adults to dinner at Station 22 - Waffles and Chicken for lots of us. And a fun brunch at Magleby Fresh on Tuesday. So great being together. One of the days we had a cousins and sibling gift exchange by the tree in Grandma and Grandpa’s front room.

At the Climbing Gym

Fun to be at the climbing gym with everyone. The kids loved it!

Lights at Temple Square

Before heading to Temple Square we enjoyed some time in the Church History Museum.

Fun to walk around the temple grounds with our Walton cousins. After taking pictures together we headed across the street to pick up some food and ate it together at the food court.

Hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa’s House

It was a fun week. Lots of visiting and games and food. We each took a night to cook and we did waffles for our night. Here we are playing jackbox games on the TV. Fun to play downstairs too… shuffleboard, and bumper pool.
