Last morning in Bangkok

The view from our hotel room was pretty impressive. Fun to be right in the middle of Bangkok. On our last morning in Bangkok we woke up early and headed to the gym to work out. Chris and I were there by 6:45 - thank you jet lag. After 45 minutes I headed outside to the pool area and just sat on a pool chair for a half hour. It felt so good outside!  We got ready, packed our bags and met Brian, Terri, Jared and Geneva for breakfast at the M Club. It was so great to have that perk! Since Chris and I were done packing our luggage, we took a walk outside in Queens Park. We thought it looked a lot like a blue zone. With courts full of people playing volleyball and basketball, runners and walkers on the track, men working out at the fitness circuit provided by the park, people socializing and relaxing on the grass, a woman praying by herself, and the cutest group of 50 little kindergarten students on a field trip picking up leaves and flowers. One little girl approached and looked up at us and said ‘good morning’.  Oh my gosh. It was adorable!!  Fun to take a moment and just be with my man.

At 11:00 we hopped in our luxury brown van - all ritzy and bedazzled inside - and headed to the airport. Ha ha. I took a picture of Chris and Doug from behind because they were always carrying two bags. Theirs and their wives. Love it.
