Pride of the Rockies Tournament

The Airfare Academy is such a great venue for the Pride of the Rockies Tournament at the end of every summer. Nice and close to home and perfect weather. This year we had two games on Friday morning (Megan and Luke) and then SIX games on Saturday — which was great. We were on the fields from 7:30am to 4:30pm and Chris and I were both able to be there all day. We just hopped from one field to the next, set up our chairs and shades and enjoyed the games. It was a great day and the kids played really well. It’s crazy that we have THREE competitive Pride players now.

We grabbed Jimmy Johns for lunch and enjoyed moving from game to game.

Pride of the Rockies this year with THREE of our kids. This is the first (of many I’m sure) competitive PRIDE seasons for Luke and Matt.

Trying to put their enemy faces on… these ones make me laugh - crazy to see these boys in different colors playing against each other. Matt’s RED team played Anders COPA team and got beaten pretty badly but Ali said that with Matt in defense several parents on her team said, “Who is that 54?” Ali was proud to say “That’s Anders best friend!!” Matt and Anders both played well.
