Girls Trip - Rudeshiem, Germany

Ryan and I picked up Emma at her house at 8am and he dropped us off at the Denver Airport on his way back to Provo. We met Brittany at the airport, got on our flight from Denver to Detroit, ate salads at the Detroit airport, met up with Mindy and flew from Detroit to Frankfurt on the back row. We landed at 8:30am Germany time. Heidi picked us up and we headed straight to a cute German town on the Rhein - Rudesheim. Boy was it great to be back in Germany — and especially with my Heidelberg friends… Heidi, Melissa, Emma, Mindy and Brittany. We oohed and aahed about the cobblestone and German architecture, flower pots, cute courtyards and gelatoria’s. Even without much sleep, I was blissfully happy.

We wandered through the streets for a while and then headed up the cable car overlooking beautiful views of the Valley and Rhein River.

We ate lunch on the patio of a restaurant at the top and I enjoyed my first Germany meal — delicious spaetzle and mushroom sauce. Then we headed back down the cable car and Heidi drove us back to the airport - this time to pick up Megan Gillespie and meet up with Priscilla. Then on to the Netherlands!
