Girls Trip - Volendam, Netherlands

Volendam was a port town just a few minutes north of Marken — and just as cute.

Behind the mainstreet Brittany and I found a quiet little neighborhood right on the canal. Such a fun area to walk through.

We picked a nice restaurant/pub, got seats at a high table back in the corner and planted ourselves there for several hours. It looked like it had really great food but my heart was set on a Belgium waffle with ice cream, strawberries and cream down the street so I went and got it and brought it back to the restaurant. So so good!

On the way home my car (Priscilla, Emma, Mindy and I) stopped to take a walk out to some windmills. It was such a great day. So many fun things to do in the Netherlands.
