Dad's Birthday

Dad’s 47th birthday was on Sunday and unfortunately he was on call so he had to work. We enjoyed having the Sacrament at home as a family and then he headed in while the rest of us studied our Come Follow Me lesson. The rest of the day we wrapped presents, decorated and made lasagna so that when he got home we were ready to eat and open presents. He knew he was getting some new running shoes and a Jet Boil but was surprised with new Eddie Bauer shorts, several CUBS shirt and a new expansion pack for Istanbul. It was a fun night.

No idea why Matt is sporting his green bandana again here and there.

Naturally the girls started teasing him about something and then ended up getting tickled. Katie called in to wish Dad a Happy Birthday and was able to watch the whole thing, which was fun.
