Matt’s team played really well. They were put in a hard division but did remarkably well and kept control of the ball most of the time. They lost both games but felt great about how they played. Coach was pleased. Inbetween games we had four hours to kill so Matt and I decided to head to the movie theater and see CALL TO THE WILD. Several of his teammates had the same idea. It was fun — especially sitting next to Matt and whispering about everything that was happening.
Coronavirus cancels the Soccer Season
Well, that was it. Both boys had some practices and Matt had the Pueblo Tournament but on March 12th everything came to a screeching halt. No more practices and after 6 weeks, they finally cancelled the season. Since then there’s been a lot of playing soccer in the backyard with our new soccer goals.
