Winter Weather

We have had so much snow this winter. Cold, cold and more cold. This day was windy and freezing but we had already used up so many of the districts allocated snow days that I think the district was leary of using anymore. Plus we had already added 10 minutes to the end of all of our school days to try and cope with the missing days and still get us out before June. We’ll see how that works. Recently, a snowstorm started after the kids were in school and by 1:00pm we got alerts from all of the schools cancelling everything after school (including a choir concert) and letting us know that in order for our elementary kids to be let out a parent would need to pick them up. That’s how cold it was!! They also said that we could pick up our kids early if we wanted — so that’s what I did. This snowy weather is beautiful but we’re all needing some sunshine!
