100 Days Before Christmas
This year’s 100 Days Before Christmas party multiplied by FOUR. We enjoyed our family 100 Days celebration, Ryan hosted his 2nd annual 100 Days Party at BYU, Katie threw a 100 Days District Party in Florida and Emily suggested and helped plan a 100 Days Party for the Young Women -Class One. That’s a lot of early Christmas celebrations. I love it.
When we sat down to the table to enjoy our Christmas Breakfast and grape juice I asked the kids which Christmas traditions they are going to keep. Unanimously they said ‘100 Days before Christmas’ and then started chatting about other favorite traditions. Then Megan said, ‘Lowkey, I’m going to keep all of them!.’
NEW THIS YEAR, I decided to go through all of our Christmas photos from years past, pick a few, edit them with a filter and print them through Chatbooks. Such a fun project and so happy with how they turned out. I also sent a set to Katie on her mission, which she opened while I watched. She and was thrilled! These will be great to pull out and put up year after year.
We ate our Christmas Breakfast and then filled out our holiday bucket lists. A fun way to start thinking and planning for the holiday season.
The kids decided they wanted to make chains. Emily and Megan made one together and the boys made another one. Both 100 chains long. We watched ‘The Christmas Spirit’ - a Hallmark movie that the girls wanted to watch - worked on a puzzle and ate Squamish bars. It was a fun night.
