Disney World - Blizzard Beach and Disney Springs

Blizzard Beach

This is a fun Disney waterpark. During a previous trip to Disney World we purchased a 10 day Park Hopper Pass (with no expiration) that came with a 10 day FUN PASS as well. Blizzard Bay is one of the ‘free’ things in the FUN PASS bundle. Because of some confusion with this pass and our current 4 day pass, they fixed everything in the system and let Cassie, Luke and Matt (who weren’t around for the original 10-day fun passes) in for no charge. What a blessing. Love working with Disney!

We played in the wave pool and enjoyed so many water slides and the lazy river. It was fun!

A picture of the brave ones who went on the Summit Plummet: 120 feet tall and speeds up to 60 miles per hour. It’s the third tallest and fastest free-fall slide in the world. Wow! Unfortunately our rides were cut short when dark clouds and lightening entered the area. We decided to head home and then venture over to Disney Springs.

Disney Springs

We had a lot of fun wandering around Disney Spring. . Such a great atmosphere. We settled on Blaze Pizza and enjoyed eating and chatting about 75 SOFT… Katie’s recommendation to challenge ourselves from now until Thanksgiving. Everyone jumped on board quickly and is excited to really push ourselves to be better. Katie immediately made a 75 SOFT group text. I love it!

We wandered through stores and it was so much fun! Emily used most of her $50 Disney gift card on a new cute navy Mickey hoodie. At the end of the night we ended up at Ghirardelli’s and ate delicious hot fudge sundaes. So good!
