Santa Clara Heritage Square

Yay! I’m kind of obsessed with Santa Clara these days. The boys and I came to the Swiss Days celebration and then I came by myself once to walk several miles up and down the main street and take a few pictures.

Heritage Square

When Katie and Emily were home for General Conference Weekend I made everyone get ready so we could walk around Heritage Square between sessions. The perfect between sessions activity.

I loved it.

A fun place to walk around and take pictures.

So cool to show everyone the plaques of Samuel Wittwer and other ancestors who came from Switzerland. That name is familiar to most of my kids because so many of them did a project about him in Elementary School. Fun to feel a connection to this place.

The Relief Society House

The RS House sits on the corner of Heritage Square. It’s so cute. I love seeing this building sitting right on Santa Clara’s main street. More about it below…

Yay for pomegranites hanging nearby. We always had pomegranates when we visited my Grandma Polley in Las Vegas — who comes through this Samuel Wittwer line. And yay for Luke. Love this almost fifteen year old.

Santa Clara Granaries

Fun to see a couple of these around of some of the properties in the area. More info below.
