All About Kates
Katie is just finished up with her BYU Winter Semester which means she only has one more semester (next fall) until she graduates! Wow.
She was accepted into the Marriott School of Business and is majoring in Experience Design and Management.
Katie was just selected as one of EXDM students to travel to Orlando, Florida and take part in a week of learning from the Disney Imagination Campus and other experience design departments at Universal Studios and ESPN. What a cool experience!
Katie just landed a summer internship with Humanitarian XP - based in Salt Lake City. She has been working with them every Friday for the last 6 weeks and will continue to work there every Tuesday and Friday throughout the summer. She has been invited to be a standby counselor and will likely be called up to work for four weeks somewhere in the world. She’s especially looking forward to the counselor training week coming up in May.
In addition, Katie will continue to work for the BYU Sports Camp Office Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays! Her influence inspired Megan to get a job as a counselor this summer. So fun!
She also spends her time working a couple shifts per week at Called To Surf and helping Mike and Carly take care of the girls for a couple hours once or twice a week.
On top of that she serves as one of the Ward Event Planners. This girl is amazing! No idea how she does it all!
She’s currently living with the Fab Four: Katie, Annie, Dallie and Abbey and they are trying to pack in all the fun with weekend trips and summer parties. It’s going to be a full summer — especially with our family trip to Switzerland, Greece and Germany in August. So excited to see how the next couple of months unfold for her. Love you Kates!
