Estes Park for Memorial Day Weekend

Exploring Downtown Estes Park

Chris, Emily, Megan, Luke, Matt and I drove up to Estes Park on Friday night and immediately started watching the latest season of STRANGER THINGS. In between all of our Estes Park excursions we’d turn off all the lights and cuddle up to watch another episode. It was a scary season but the girls are so into it, it was fun to do together.

Loved this cool tile entry to the tunnel leading to the River Walk. Fun to walk along the river behind the stores, play some brain puzzles left out on a table by the game store, explore Main Street and end with ice cream.

Hiking to Bridal Veil Falls

Katie drove up from Provo on Friday night. Fun to have her here for the weekend. Dad picked a fun hike to do right inside the Rocky Mountain National Park. Love Luke’s new Estes Park shirt.

Love this man.

Ryan and Cassie drove from Provo to Estes Park on Saturday and met up with us for a quick 36 hours before continuing on to Cassie’s family week in Arkansas. As soon as they got there, we ate and headed off to see TOP GUN Maverick! We LOVED it! While we were waiting for the movie to start the girls convinced Chris and I to download and use BeReal - which we did. Love all the ways to stay connected to my kiddos.

River Walk in Estes Park

Walking around downtown. The Main Street is adorable but I loved this pathway beside the River even more. So fun to be exploring a new place.

Chris and the kids decided that if they ran ahead and made silly poses that I would probably take a picture of them. And I did. Love these silly people.

Checking out the shops on Main Street.

Sunday Afternoon Family Pictures

After church at the Estes Park Ward we changed and got a few family pictures since we won’t all be together again until Christmas. Can’t believe it! Ryan and Cassie are moving to Tulsa, OK. We will see them again when they drive through in June but Katie won’t be there.

Monday Morning Cinnamon Rolls

Checking out cinnamon rolls at a local Bakery.
