Utah with the Waltons

We got to Utah just in time to watch BYU’s first home game with my whole family. There is a lot of BYU spirit in this family. 4 BYU alumni, 3 current students and a bunch of little BYU fans! We all had so much fun cheering and singing the BYU Cougar Fight Song!

Utah with the Johnsons

We spent September 2001 living with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson in Sandy, Utah. One of our favorite outings was having lunch up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We also spent lots of time playing Risk, golfing and shopping. Chris spent this month working with an orthopedic surgeon at Alta View Hospital. He liked seeing patients in clinic, but really enjoyed being in the operating room the most.

Chris and I were also able to go on some dates together. We saw Jon Schmidt and Peter Breinholt in concert, lucking out with front row seats at the outdoor Amphitheater at Thanksgiving Point for both concerts. Both performers put on a great show.

BYU with the Christoffersons

We drove down to Las Vegas to meet the Christoffersons for a BYU game against UNLV on September 29, 2001. It was so fun to enjoy a great game with these great friends.
