Megan’s First Temple Trip

We went on a Youth Temple Trip mid May.  For months we’ve been encouraging the youth to do some family history and bring their own names to the temple.  We’ve even had a couple activities at the Family History Center and with laptops at the church to find names.  Amazingly, our youth did 292 family file ordinances.  Each youth was able to do 5 names each.  It was such a neat experience.  It was Megan’s first temple trip and she wrote to Ryan that she loved every minute of it and felt the Spirit strong.”   I was able to be there to watch both Emily and Megan be baptized.  Megan smiled between each one.  It was so fun to be there with her.  Emily had been working hard to find some family names the past couple months.   She brought 10 women names and she and Megan were each able to do 5 – among them three sisters.  Fun for sisters to do the work for sisters.
