Katie’s POP’s Concert – May 2nd - The most fun concert of the year. So fun to hear all of the choirs perform and see so many youth that we know from church. Katie’s A Capella choir did so well, and the Festies songs were really great!!
Luke’s 3rd Grade ‘Granny Awards’ – Luke auditioned for Sneezy the Dwarf. He had so much fun!
Skyping with Ryan – We got to skype with Ryan for an hour on Mother’s Day morning. So great to see him and hear all about Berat (Bay-rat), the branch members and his schedule for a typical day. He LOVES his city, his mission, the people and the Albanian language. He looks so great and is so happy. Elder Harris jumped on to sya hi and to thank us for raising such a hard worker. Boy, do we love that kid. As we started to say goodbye, he launched into his testimony – which made us all a little teary. What a great day!
Emily’s End of Year Silver Tones Concert – Fun to hear Emily and the Silver Tones sing at their last concert of the year. Emily auditioned and was given a solo in the last song, Homeward. She did such a great job!! Way to go, Emily! She sure loved her Silver Tones experience this year. Great friends and a great Choir director: Ms. Carmichael. We headed to Lulu’s after the concert, which is tradition. She’s excited for High School but it sure is going to be hard to be done with Silver Tones.
Sister’s Ice Cream Katie picked up Emily and Megan from school on Wednesday and they went out for ice cream – Katie and Emily’s birthday gift to Megan.
Field Day for the boys…
Relay race and goofing around with a hula hoop. Namaste

Emily’s 8th Grade Graduation – We headed to Pine Creek High School for the 8th Grade Continuation. Highlight of the night for the kids is watching the Baby Slideshow where everyone laughs and ooooh’s over the pictures. Picture of Caroline, Riley and Emily from Caroline’s mom.
School’s Out!
