Trip to Pick up Ryan - Little Italian Hilltop Town

From the freeway I spotted the perfect little Italian town perched high on a hill. Chris is always happy to make me happy so asked if we wanted to take a detour and go explore it. A second before we had to turn off I squealed ‘Yes’ and he turned to the right. We circled up the hill and stopped for a great picture of the village and then continued on.

It was such a picturesque little village just stacked with homes, little cobbled alleyways, cute courtyards and secret tunnels. I loved it. And the best part — NO TOURISTS! Ha. We were starving for lunch and could smell and hear lunch being prepared inside the occasional open window but we couldn’t find any restaurants and had run out of cash anyway. It was such a fun little stop.
