Colorado Springs Weekend - Thursday and Friday
High School Soccer
Ryan, Cassie and Katie drove from Provo to Colorado Springs on Thursday. It’s so fun to have Cassie here for her first visit to Colorado Springs! Ryan was so excited to show her around the house and just beamed saying, ‘Now you really know me.’ It was cute. They quickly ate some Thai soup and then we headed down to Fountain Fort Carson to watch Megan play in the Varsity Game. You can see the team running towards us after their victory!
Shopping at Shops at Briargate
Friday we had fun shopping at Anthropologie and Paper Source (which Cassie loved!) and a few more stores. Then we went to Chuy’s for lunch… then suit shopping for Ryan! Glad to get that taken care of.
Emily’s Senior Piano Recital
Emily’s has taken piano lessons for so many years. She started with Megan Gillespie in Germany, then with Liz Cook and then enjoyed her last several years with Gina Forero. She has really learned so much and we’re proud of all of her hard work.
Excited to honor her accomplishments, we held a private family-only Senior Piano Recital on Friday night. So fun to gather in the front room and listen to her perform.

Dinner at home with Spicy Chicken Dip, Corn on the Cob and Snicker Bar Salad. Then soccer and spike ball outside.
