Kauai, Hawaii - Sunset Cruise to Na Pali Coast

We booked a Sunset Cruise with Holo Holo Charters. The first hour was full speed around the island to get up to the Nā Pali coast. Chris and I have a history of feeling seasick on some small boats (deep sea fishing in Mexico, a ferry ride to Capri, Italy…) so we’re always a little nervous on choppy waters or fast speeds but we did ok. We were served an appetizer of crackers, cheeses, dips and vegetables that was really good.

Once we arrived at the Nā Pali Coast area the captain slowed the catamaran and we enjoyed the gorgeous coastline, beautiful colors and rugged terrain. It was really amazing. Glad the helpers on board were able to get a picture of us together. Love it.

So fun to sail and take in the beauty. The boat served us dinner of rice and pulled pork, vegetables and salads. It really was a great spread. Chris and I sat on the front of the boat to eat.

The boat picked up speed as we headed back. This time Chris sad in the back of the boat and the fresh air helped a lot. The captain slowed again as we watched the sun set. What a beautiful evening.
