Olympia, Greece - Instagram Stories

We woke up early, got breakfast and headed off the ship at 8:15 AM. Picked up two taxis and rode a half an hour away to the ruins of ancient Olympia. It was fun learning about the Olympic Games and the temple of Zeus. Fun to have our own races - with everyone watching us - and hear about how in the day they made the winners into heroes and vilified anyone who cheated. 

After walking through the ruins, the taxis took us over to a beach, close to the ship, and we enjoy the water and the breeze. Then we walked through the shop back to the cruise ship. 

We enjoyed a late lunch (loving the salad bar and chocolate and pina colada ice cream) at our designated tables in the solarium, and played the last game of architects. Cassie and I are the top two winners. Everyone except for Katie and Luke proceed to the next set of games.
