Santorini, Greece - Instagram Stories

What can I even say about Santorini? It was amazing. We had to take a tender to our port in Santorini. To avoid the long lines for the cable car and then transportation around the island, we bought tickets for a boat ride straight to Oia - the most picturesque town on the north point of the island. Riding on the top of the boat was fantastic and spotting Oia from a distance got us so excited!

After doing all of my research, I knew it was gonna be hard to take amazing photos with crowds and crowds of people in August, and I also knew that we would be so hot. We were hot but it was still an amazing day and I took it as a challenge to find cool spots to take pictures of, despite the crowds. It was charming! Loved wandering around the small streets, seeing all the blue and white buildings laced with pink flowers and enjoying all of the little shops and alleyways with amazing views. When we took the bus back to Fira at 3:00, Ryan found us a great euro place and we ate in the shade of a tree across the street. Delicious!

We wandered the streets for just a few minutes and decided against the cable car, since the line was outrageous. Instead, we walked down the zigzag path all the way down the mountain to the old port. It was hot and the marble was slippery so Chris had to hold my hand the whole way down. What an experience! Thank you Greece!
