San Clemente Girls Trip
Seaport Village
Such a fun place to walk around, shop and talk. Plus, it was free ice cream at Ben and Jerry’s and we took full advantage. So fun to be back with the girls — and so fun to meet Missy’s friend, Patsy.
La Jolly Cove
Beautiful California Coastline. Taking in the sunshine, coastal breeze and purple flowers.
Dinner and Hula Pie at Duke’s
So excited to find a Duke’s on the California coast! Salads and Hula Pie!
San Clemente Pier
Sarah’s house was walking distance to the San Clemente Pier. What a picturesque place to walk! Afterwards we took Sarah’s golf cart to find bagels for breakfast in town. We LOVED using the golf cart all weekend! What a life!
Korean Spa and Fashionphile
All I can say is WOW. When Missy said, “I want to go to a Korean Spa in San Diego for my birthday. Who’s in?” We all said, “We’re in”. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! We loved the body scrub and Korean massage, the cold pools, the hot tubs, the saunas, the geothermal, ice and salt rooms and getting ready all together. An unforgettable experience - we are now bonded forever! Ha ha.
After the spa we headed to Sarah’s company, FASHIONPHILE to have the royal tour. We COULD NOT believe it. So fun to hear about every single thing. What a day! Back in San Clemente we hopped into the Golf Cart and headed to SOUTH OF NICK’S for the best tacos and BUTTER CAKE! : )
Sarah’s House and View
An incredible house. An incredible view of the San Clemente beach. We’re beyond lucky to be here together.
Golf Cart Tours of the San Clemente Views
Steve offered to take us on a golf cart tour of their favorite spots in San Clemente and we took him up on it. What a beautiful place!
Shopping in San Clemente
Loved this little part of town. Cute surf shops, bakeries, restaurants and such a fun colorful vibe. So much time for talking. We had the best time.
Newport Temple Session
Being in the celestial room with these ladies was one of the most unforgettable moments of the whole trip. We hugged and whispered insights and cried. A lifetime of memories, struggles and pure testimony keeps us bound together tight. So so grateful to have gotten to know Patsy on this trip. She’s an absolute gem.
San Diego Mormon Battalion Sites
We hit the RIPCURL outlet on our way out of town and bought matching sweatshirts for all of us — then Geneva, Terri and I — last to get to the airport — spend a couple hours eating spicy tacos and doing a tour through the Mormon Battalion Church Sites.
Unfortunately the flight was CANCELLED because of bad weather somewhere so I had to get a hotel for the night right outside of the San Diego airport and get another flight the next afternoon. What started out being a nightmare ended up being a FANTASTIC peaceful night to myself. I edited trip pictures for hours and then caught up on sleep. Blissful.
