Katie and Taylor - BYU Graduation

Graduation day for Katie Johnson and Taylor Wood - both graduating from the BYU Marriott School of Business with degrees in Experience Design and Management.

BYU Commencement

It was a beautiful spring day in Provo. We watched the grads file into the Marriott Center and found seats with the Andersens and Christoffersons.

Elder Gong expressed three commencement hopes and invitations for the graduating class: to reflect on their BYU experiences with gratitude, to continue becoming their truest selves and to focus on their spiritual identity and commitment to service. "In our often noisy, cluttered, unsettled world, please continue to focus on that which does not change — who we are spiritually (spiritual identity), whose we are (covenant belonging) and how we use our God-given agency to continue discovering and becoming our best BYU self." President C. Shane Reese encouraged graduates to continue developing the courage to be different and strengthening their resolve as disciples of Jesus Christ. Hillary Nielsen, president of the BYU Alumni Association, emphasized the importance of savoring moments, practicing gratitude, making meaningful connections and engaging in acts of service as pathways to happiness. . Undergraduate speaker Macy West addressed the BYU class of 2024, emphasizing the power of the personal narratives we as individuals tell ourselves and the importance of crafting a life full of stories to be proud of.

All of the talks were so good and it was such an inspiring program!

Johnson Christofferson Traditions

Why are we still doing this after 30 years? Just because it still makes us laugh! And a new photo tradition. Marilee and I with outstretched arms just like we unknowingly and simultaneously did for Spencer and Ryan’s graduation pics. After this long, we just think the same. Love you Christoffersons!

The Wood Family

So fun to celebrate Katie and Taylor’s graduation with Taylor’s parents, Dave and Nancy, and his brother Carson.
