Covid Halloween
It was a strange Halloween.
As a Primary Presidency we were supposed to be in charge of a Ward Trunk or Treat Activity but just didn’t feel great about it — even with measures to make it safer. So we cancelled it.
Chris and I didn’t feel good about holding our Traditional 15 Family Neighborhood Friend Halloween Dinner and Trick-or-Treating either so sadly no invites went out.
But we weren’t sure what to do about the boys trick or treating. I didn’t make any effort for costumes as I was unsure how it would all work or what our state or city directive would be. Then the day before, after talking to several friends within the community, Chris and I decided the two of them could walk around together with masks.
Without planned costumes, I headed downstairs to see if there was enough stuff for the boys to be PIRATES — a costume that had definitely been used over and over throughout the years. Easy enough and it turned out so cute. It’s been years since these little boys have been pirates. And their black masks seem to match perfectly.
Luke - Almost 13 years old
Matthew - 11 1/2 years old
It’s been a while since these cute boys have been Pirates! Matt was 5 1/2 months and Luke was almost two!
